About Us

The Loneliest Sport was created on the 24th February 2020 as a Facebook and Instagram page dedicated to the sport of boxing. With so many boxing pages and groups on social media all offering the same old sensationalism and generic material, our aim was to provide an original and more sophisticated approach - a platform catering specifically to the genuine boxing aficionado and to those who are embedded within the global boxing community. We began to delve deeply into the archives, unearthing some of the most fascinating stories and quotations from many of the legends who have adorned the sport over the centuries and presented our findings to our followers. The page proved to be much more successful than we had anticipated, with the Facebook page alone gaining over 100,000 followers within the first 11 months.

Following on from the success of The Loneliest Sport on social media, we have introduced an exclusive line of premium quality apparel to the market, aimed at providing the boxing community with fashionable and practical athleisurewear to be enjoyed by the active boxer and the avid follower of The Sweet Science. There is also a series of books currently in development and our aim is to publish these in the near future.
